HOW TO APPLY - IT'S TWO STEPS!

Step #1: sign on to MnOCM website, and provide veteran ID at no cost. 

Note that you first must create an account and request access to the verification portal, then you will be sent a link to proceed to create and submit an application for Social Equity Verification.

Step #2: sign up for Accelerate Minnesota program, wherein Accelerate Minnesota will submit applications for all veterans, provide all funding & real estate and provide operational services. 

Social equity verification is required to apply for license pre-approval. If you are interested and meet the above requirements, now is the time to act! 

The state’s Social Equity Verification portal opened on Monday, June 24, 2024 and closes on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. CDT. 

This verification is a free service that involves creating an account within the state’s portal, providing information for the state to conduct a background check, and uploading documentation proving one’s social equity status. For veterans, acceptable documentation includes a DD214, an NGB Form 22, or, if currently serving in the National Guard, an Official Status Document.
